More information about the Padiglione Austriaco — La Biennale die Venezia (the Austrian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale) 2013 is online. This latest example of sensomatic’s minimal site department —

Sensomatic went to Brno to see the Graphic Design Biennale and follow an architectural tour through the city. We liked the Experimental Jetset exhibition at Moravska gallery.

Catalogue for an exhibition about climate issues which was presented at last nights opening at Salzburger Kunstverein.
In their section about their typefaces in use, typetogether feature our design for the Austrian Pavilion at La Biennale Venezia 2013 using the Soleil font by Wolfgang Homola.
Another annual report of Lokale Liaison, the art education department of the Kunstverein Wolfsburg, was now released as the second edition in a series, featuring bright green after yellow.

Yesterday the exhibition beziehungsweise at Wittmann Showroom Vienna opened. We installed a gigantic display featuring a mobile. Still on display until August 11th.
Today commissioner Jasper Sharp announced Mathias Poledna as artist of next year’s show at the Austrian Pavilion in Venice. Sensomatic were commissioned for the overall graphic identity. Featuring Soleil, a brand new font by Wolfgang Homola.
For the opening of Architekturtage 2012, the BUWOG exhibition was installed again in a small version of 4 cubes. This time we went for a 3-dimensional detail in the site maps. Collaboration with bindermayer design, powered by the excellent teams of Dekotrend and Viennaprint.
Coming up: a group exhibition at Wittmann Möbelwerkstätten Schauraum, Karlsplatz, titled "beziehungsweise". Sensomatic are responsible for invites, posters as well as exhibition design. Curated by section.a, opening Thursday, June 21st.

With the help of sensomatic’s signage pupils, teachers and guests of the new “Stelzamer Hauptschule” in Linz will easily find their way to the classrooms, laboratories and lavatories.

We’ve just finished the website for Obenauf — the best roof system people in Vienna.
Photographer Hanna Haböck (remember?) proofed to be free from giddiness when she danced on the rooftops to take some pictures of the construction works. Luckily she could distract herself from the heights by looking at the good looking builders …
Good news for all inventors and scientists who need some funding for their laboratories! The new website for the Christian Doppler Forschungsgesellschaft (don’t forget to inhale) gives you all information you need for starting/funding a lab to work on things other people even didn’t know they exist (us included).
After complaints — from a very remote place somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Germany — that we don’t update our site frequently enough, here’s something you might not know:
Super type lady Martha Stutteregger was comissioned to come up with a new corporate identity for the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna aka mumok. For digital she asked sensomatic to help her getting the new identity on the existing technical structure of the mumok website.
Not as good as a complete revamp but not bad for the little time we had.
My poster from 1995 is part of an exhibition at Kunstmuseum Dieselkraftwerk Cottbus. In this photo (© Lausitzer Rundschau) you can see it in the background, just left from the curator, in red. It was a contribution to the Unesco‘s year of tolerance.
