the advent_ures were online advent calendars where you had to find a number – sounds familiar? – to see the self generated or user contributed surprises.
the first two were completely realised with director, the third one was a mixture of html and director.

the “stubn” or “stüberl” is a cosy place to socialize mountain stylee. we thought that's a good place to be praised. back then it wasn't that easy to find a free guestbook, especially when you had no clue of anything other than html. it's still working, btw.
we used low tech (webcam) pictures as digital postcard images to remind us to do things we don't like. sharing it with the world seemed to be a nice idea, so a friend of ours helped us to get it running.
it's really old skool so no singing and dancing bunnies.

we were a bit too lazy to update this page regularly so the selection of links were always slightly out of date if not completely. the blog way of collecting links is a much better system and we are happily letting other people do the job.
check out the animation – it's perfect.
ultra complicated mixture of php and html. yes, there would be a much simpler and more dynamic way of doing it but at that time we had to sacrifice a lot of brains and it was almost a miracle that it worked.
type and html is still a pain in the bum.
